Kennett Middle School Library

Library

The Kennett Middle School Library is open each school day from 7:15 a.m. - 2:45 p.m. Students are welcome to use the library before school starts, during the day with a pass from a classroom teacher, and after school until 2:45. The library provides a quiet workspace for students, and Chromebooks are available for school-related activities.

Each student may check out three books at a time for a two-week period. Books may be renewed for additional two-week periods. Payment for lost or damaged books must be made before students will be allowed to check out more books.

Web-based Destiny Card Catalog is used in all five Conway schools and allows students to see what materials are available in the district.  It can be accessed anywhere the Internet is available.   The catalog has two parts, Destiny and Destiny Quest. Destiny Quest has a more visual component and will open when you click on the link for it. It shows new books in the KMS library and lets students save titles they wish to read, write book reviews, and recommend titles to others. Follow the link below to access the catalog. Students should see Mrs. Gustafson in the library if they need to create a username and password for the online catalog.
